We're hosting our Introduction to Mahjong - American style - which incorporates unique elements such as jokers and the official 2026 NMJL card. This version of the game has evolved to include new tiles and rules, making it a distinct and popular variation enjoyed across the United States. If you've only ever seen the traditional versions, this is a great opportunity to explore the American adaptation of the game.

No experience necessary. Tile sets and racks provided. We will have NMJL cards to utilize during the lesson but you are free to bring your own.

We're partnering with Chuchaqui to bring you Primo & Patio Pounders, a cocktail workshop designed for anyone who loves a great drink and wants to learn how to recreate bar-quality cocktails at home.

Your ticket includes a welcome cocktail upon arrival, so you can settle in, sip, and get inspired before diving into the class.

Together, we'll explore:

• How to make and use infused syrups to elevate your home cocktails

We're bringing back one of our favorite things—getting creative around the table. Join us for an afternoon of cake decorating at Moody's Market, where each guest will receive a fully baked and filled 6" cake prepared by our Pastry Chef Mollie, ready for you to make your own.

Each guest will receive a cake featuring vanilla and chocolate marble sponge, chocolate ganache, fresh raspberry jam, and vanilla buttercream.

We'll provide the buttercream, decorating tools, edible flowers, sprinkles, and inspiration—you bring the imagination. Middle Brow Wine Tasting & Cheese Pairing at Moody’s

Join us at Moody’s for a relaxed and delicious evening of wine and cheese. This guided tasting experience features four thoughtfully selected wines, each paired with an artisan cheese to highlight complementary flavors and textures.

Our friend Tyler from Middle Brow will be pouring and introducing each wine, sharing insights into the selections and what makes each pairing special. Whether you're a seasoned wine lover or simply enjoy discovering new flavors, this tasting is a perfect way to learn, sip, and savor.

Your $25 ticket includes:

• Four wine pours presented by Tyler from Middle Brow

• Four artisan cheese pairings

Are you looking for a unique, highly curated, and delicious experience this May? We have a very special event that we're cooking up and would love to invite you to participate. 

Think: dinner party except you have 2 hot dates, incredible ambiance, and a 3-course vegetarian meal from Moody's Market. 

Curious? Here are the logistics:

There are only 20 slots available for the event itself. We will be taking applications for the next week. I (Rivka, the matchmaker) will be intentionally hand-picking our participants from the applicant pool to ensure that there are substantial matches. If you are selected, you will have 2 dates - one for dinner, one for dessert. Appetizer round will be for mingling and warming up a bit. 

The event will be on May 12th at Moody's Market from 7-9 PM.

This is all currently a DIY effort. Ticket sales will go toward the actual matchmaking process + all the logistics it entails. It will also include your dinner. You will have to purchase drinks if you want to drink, though! 

Tickets will be $40-80 sliding scale once you are selected. Pay what you can - no questions asked.

Acessibility

*This is not a mask-required event and there is a risk involved when eating in a restaurant. We will ask people to take COVID tests at least 2 days beforehand. We will also have masks available if people want to wear them in between meals.

*Please do not come if you are feeling sick - we can move your ticket to a future event. 

* There are no steps to get into Moody's Market or the bathroom.
