Almost one year ago, we opened the doors to Moody's Market with a simple idea: create the kind of place we wished existed in our neighborhood.

Moody's began as a dream shared among four friends who believed that food has the power to bring people together. From the very beginning, our vision was to create a welcoming space where neighbors could gather, celebrate, learn something new, and discover something delicious.

By day, Moody's is a specialty market where people stop in for coffee, lunch, wine, desserts, gifts, and something special to bring home. But what has surprised and inspired us most is what has grown beyond the shelves. Over the past year, Moody's has become a gathering place. We've hosted trivia nights, wine tastings, cooking classes, craft afternoons, private dinners, and countless conversations between neighbors who may not have otherwise met.

Today, the day-to-day operations of Moody's are led by us, Mollie and Melissa. As a small team, we wear many hats—from baking cakes and preparing food to stocking shelves, planning events, and welcoming customers through the door each day. Our co-owner Michael continues to contribute his creativity and love of food through recipe development, helping shape many of the flavors and experiences that make Moody's special.

As we approach our one-year anniversary on August 15th, 2026, we're looking ahead to what comes next!

We're not trying to become something bigger than ourselves. Our goal is to strengthen what already exists: a neighborhood market where people gather, celebrate, learn something new, and create memories around food.

Every cup of coffee, every birthday cake, every trivia team, every class attendee, and every person who has chosen to spend part of their day with us has helped make Moody's what it is today.
